At a time when violence and destruction overwhelm most parts of this planet, and news of murder and disasters tops every news bulletin... and brutal capitalism preoccupies the souls and minds of people, chasing after their own interests, and the number of the world’s wealthy people who have reached an unprecedented level in collecting money is increasing. In the midst of all this materialism and excessive selfishness, there are shining lights of humanity that go in the completely opposite direction. They are a different category of people, people who have dedicated themselves to giving, goodness, and charity, providing great services to humanity at the expense of their time and their own interests. People who still live among us after they were destined to live in the lives of those who came after them. People who were immortalized in history because they were high models of sincere giving to their communities and nations. They provided this universe with great services, values, and deeds that engraved their names on the corners of this planet that would not have lived, progressed, or arrived. It would not have been possible today if it were not for the gifts and services of the great prophets, messengers, scholars, and reformers, and even some simple people whose names have fallen from the pages of history, but they never fell from the comfort that settled their souls, the happiness that filled their souls, and the other lives they lived among those who came after them and benefited from their giving.
Yes... it is giving... that great human value that immortalized everyone who was attached to it and devoted to it... and gave to everyone who gave it.
All we hope for from this book is that it will be a source of inspiration for you to give in any form, at any size, and at any time, to join the club of great giving people. We also hope that the book in itself will be a simple gift from the author. It contributes to enhancing this great human value in our Arab societies, and is a very small step towards developing and improving life, and reconstructing this planet that the Great Creator has appointed us as successors in, and commanded us to strive to reconstruct.
The book will take you on a journey to travel through different stages of life that most of us have experienced, such as the work environment, the impact of social networking sites on our private and professional lives, as well as some topics related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. With the addition of some of my own touches that mimic my point of view and convictions, to be the captain of this short, enjoyable journey. Similar to the saying: (The world is a book, whoever does not travel through it sees only one page), I say:

From the days of my life...the path to happiness: My book is very simple, in which I tell you about some of the situations I went through that played a major role in building my personality and who I am today. These situations come in a way that brings happiness to me and to those around me. I tried to narrate some situations and some stories and put them in a simple form containing some of them articles from some writers or sayings, and I implanted in them my simple advice. It was also my idea to directly translate this book, in cooperation with my daughter Al-Reem, to be in both Arabic and English

In a time when competition between commercial companies in various parts of the world has intensified and the speed of changes has increased dramatically as products are renewed very quickly, you will hardly buy a modern electronic device or a car until you hear of another product on the market that has more specifications or higher quality. To the point that many people have become an annual habit of changing their smartphones because the producing companies do not stop making changes and developments in the products. The matter is not limited to products only, as well as services. Every now and then we hear of a new service provided by organization X and another provided by organization Y, and so on. Until the customer sat at home and received all the products and services that came to his mind from all over the world. This acceleration emphasizes the necessity of institutions adopting innovation, whether it is innovation in products, services, or processes, in order to continue making profits and not declare their loss or bankruptcy. Innovation is what enables an organization to remain competitive and provide innovative new products and services that attract customers and achieve profits.
Many people use the word innovation on a daily basis, many managers demand innovation from their employees, and many new entrepreneurs aim to achieve innovation. But if you stop someone and ask him about innovation, its dimensions, and the factors affecting it, you will often get a simple answer that reflects a superficial understanding of innovation, or a wrong understanding of innovation and a lack of awareness of its various dimensions. In this book, we will gently navigate institutional innovation so that the reader can understand institutional innovation in a deep way that enables him to apply it, whether in the organization in which he works or in his own projects.
