عن ماذا يتحدث كتاب الوليمة؟
تدور احداث الرواية عن مجموعة كبيرة من الاصدقاء تعرفوا على بعضهم عن طريق وسائل التواصل وفي يوم قرر خالد جمعهم في قصره ليتحدث معهم في مشروع يقربهم من بعضهم بعد ان بدء كل واحد الانشغال في حياته ولكن هل ستنتهي الامور على خير ام ستنتهي هذه الصداقة ؟
.. اعتنى الكثير من المؤرخين بترجمة سيرة الصحابي الجليل «أبو بكر الصديق» فلم يعد هناك الكثير مما يقال عنها، وقد أدرك العقاد هذا الأمر فجاء كتابه عن الصديق مختلفًا؛ فقدم دراسة نفسية تحليلية لشخصية الصديق ليتعرف على صفاته وسماته الشخصية ويستنبط بواعث سلوكه، فيسوق العقاد الأخبار والحوادث التاريخية لا ليعرضها هي نفسها بل ليضع يده على مفاتيح شخصية الخليفة الأول من خلال تعاطيه مع الأحداث وتعامله مع الناس. كما يقترب من بيئته وحياته قبل الإسلام وبعده وظروف إسلامه، ثم يعقد المقارنة بينه وبين «عمر بن الخطاب» ليظهر الفروقات بين شخصياتهما وطباعهما، كما يقدم جوانب من إدارته لشئون الخلافة في الدولة الإسلامية الوليدة وكيف تصرف تجاه الأزمات التي كادت أن تعصف بها.
The culprit of the novel My Heart is Between Abu Dhabi and Kuwait
The events of the novel take place in the nineties of the last century in the city of Abu Dhabi. The protagonist, Ali, worked as an employee in his father’s company after his father urged him to do so. He not only married Hamad’s cousin, who shares the company’s profits with his father.
Ali feels tremendous pressure from his parents. He does not feel that the time has come for him to make a decision in his life.
As fate would have it, he went with Hamad's aunt on a business trip to Kuwait. The director of the Kuwaiti company was late for the meeting, so his daughter, Sharifa, was forced to meet the Emirati delegation. Ali saw her and his heart burned with love for her, and so did she.
The agreement was not completed between the two parties due to the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait.
