The book “Proud of Her Father” deals with the story of Aisha, who lived with her father, who was sick with cancer, as she did not know that she would emerge from this experience with a different personality, more determined and stronger. The events are progressive, beginning with introducing her father and how he loved literature and the Arabic language, and his studies and love for the State of Kuwait, until he He discovered that he had the disease and traveled to Germany and hid the matter from her from her three brothers, until she invited him to a meeting in heaven and how she struggled with life after him and succeeded despite all the circumstances. In her first writing experience, the book is not a novel or a short story per se, but rather fifteen chapters, each chapter telling about a situation she went through from the life of her father to his illness and then his death, and what she did after him.
We change, our ages increase, our features undergo age changes, and even our ideas change with time and differ, or may even change completely and be undermined by ideas that contradict them.
In this book, I put some of my opinions and thoughts at a certain time, and I do not know what might come out of them in the future.
I made it under the name (Ala Wadh al-Naqa) from the clarity of purity, which is a popular Bedouin word that means that the matter be honest and pure, with no shade on it, just like what I am trying to present without falsification or embellishment, at least from my point of view.
Life is a drama, and drama is a drama within this drama, and most of it talks about this drama that emerges from it, and the process of acting is the enemy of this drama. The more we are honest in presenting this drama, and the more we are spontaneous, the more we seem real, and the exact opposite is true. When you look like you are acting, you will be closer to failure, and farther away from the audience’s love. Even a clown must clown with sincerity and spontaneity that makes him appear real. Our example is Charlie Chaplin, who used clown tools in all his roles that people know, and the audience interacted with the humanitarian issues that he raised and sympathized with them. .
We all know that what is presented on the screen are nothing but events that have no basis, so we think, but why do we follow them if we believe that? We follow it because we are in fact the heroes of this drama: its author, director, actor, and the rest of its makers speak in our name, act for us, and represent us at the same time, and when we follow them we are watching ourselves, or details from it.
This collection presents a group of stories that attempt to approach the worlds of drama in one way or another, in writing and acting.
